UETDRMP007 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel

This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to perform a rescue from live low voltage (LV) electrical apparatus in an electricity supply industry (ESI) environment. This does not include overhead lines and underground cables. It includes the organisational workplace requirements for the inspection and use of live LV panel rescue equipment, and how it applies to ESI workers to meet work health and safety (WHS)/occupational health and safety (OHS), mobility and mutual aid requirements.

This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to perform testing of connections to low voltage (LV) electricity networks in the electricity supply industry (ESI) environment. It includes the requirements for testing when connecting and/or reconnecting a customer’s installation to an electricity supply network and how it applies to ESI workers to meet work health and safety (WHS)/occupational health and safety (OHS), mobility and mutual aid requirements.

GET Compliance utilises an online Learner Management System (LMS) to issue course material to trainees, conduct assessments, store records and deliver certificates. Please make sure you bring along a ‘smart’ device such as laptop, tablet or mobile phone to complete your assessments and to get access to your certificate post-course. Although mobiles can be used, they are not recommended due to the condensed screen size. GET Compliance has a limited number of tablets on hand for trainees to use if they don’t have a device, or it is insufficient to run our LMS.

Trainees who are deemed competent will be issued with a Statement Of Attainment by GET Compliance which is nationally recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework.

Refresher – $150 (Trainee must produce any pre-requisites listed above, as well as a Statement of Attainment from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) for this unit (UETDRMP011) or it’s predecessor).
