Our Esitrain T0911 courses are delivered face-to-face. (This course is also commonly referred to as Energex Spotter Course, Ergon Spotter Course, or just Spotter Course)
Unit:
For Contractor Workers who want to apply to the Electricity Entity (Ergon Energy or Energex) for approval as an ‘Authorised Person’, as defined in Section 3.4 of the Code of Practice for Working Near Overhead and Underground Electric Lines.

- 4490 Working Safely Near Live Electrical Lines and Apparatus – Ergon
- M320 Electrical Awareness for Safe Work (OHAW) – Energex
- (M428 Underground Awareness (UGAW) is NOT equivalent to this T0911 Introduction to Electrical Network Infrastructure for Authorised Persons)

This course requires participants to read and write. Please reach out to GET Compliance if you may need any support. Alternatively, you may bring someone to support you with any difficulties you may have.
For PPE requirements, please make sure you refer to the PPE Table, located in the footer of this web page. Incorrect PPE may result in trainees being unable to complete certain units, at the trainer’s discretion.
GET Compliance utilises an online Learner Management System (LMS) to issue course material to trainees, conduct assessments, store records and deliver certificates. Please make sure you bring along a ‘smart’ device such as laptop, tablet or mobile phone to complete your assessments and to get access to your certificate post-course. Although mobiles can be used, they are not recommended due to the condensed screen size. GET Compliance has a limited number of tablets on hand for trainees to use if they don’t have a device, or it is insufficient to run our LMS.
GET Compliance issues a Certificate of Achievement to trainees deemed competent.
